The Help Desk Technician I will be responsible for providing the following job duties: Perform Tier 1 Help Desk support that includes troubleshooting capabilities beyond the Tier-I capability Monitor helpdesk ticket system workload and productivity Demonstrate ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Troubleshooting and assistance, SharePoint (Unclassified/Classified), Mobile Device Support, VTC Support/Scheduling, Account Issues, Multifunction Device/Printer/Scanner Support), incident/ticket tracking, triage and escalation (if necessary) to support day-to-day operations and exercises/training events Perform support to the user check-in process, performing functions such as: account creation; processing new account paperwork; issuing credentials; and assigning permissions. Coordinate and resolve technical, scheduling, and delivery issues associated with technical refresh, asset tracking, and life-cycle sustainment of MSTP IT assets. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in Help Desk Fluent understanding of the entire Microsoft Server ecosystem of applications- primarily Microsoft systems, Office 365, Teams and SharePoint Service Desk/Help Desk Ticketing System(s) knowledge. Active Secret Clearance Required DoD 8570/8140 Certification, including Information Assurance (IAT) or Information Assurance Architecture and Engineering (IASAR) Level II or higher Location: MCB Quantico, VA Work Environment: Work is primarily performed in an office, classroom and military training area settings, but may also be performed in a maintenance facility as well as remote outdoors in military training areas. Work is occasionally performed outdoors, in adverse conditions including inclement weather such as high humidity, heat, cold, high wind, rain, and various local conditions. Our mission is to support the training of US Marines; therefore we work side by side with them in all climates and conditions. Employee may be exposed to sharp objects and may be exposed to some heat, loud noise, chemicals, lead and vibration. Employee shall adhere to the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHA) regulations. As applicable, personal protective equipment is mandatory. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities and abilities. Physical Demands: Position consists of sitting or standing for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds. Seeing up close. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Work Schedule: 40 hours per week. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project. Flexibility in scheduling work hours and available for occasional travel. License and Other Requirements: Possession of a valid driver’s license and availability of private transportation may be required for some positions in this job class (mileage expense allowance provided). Salary and Benefits: As stated during the interview/hiring process. Security Clearance: Must have a Secret Clearance. Travel: Some travel may be required for this position.
