Recipharm is a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) in the pharmaceutical industry employing 9,000 employees with headquarters in Sweden. One of Recipharm’s nine research and development facilities is in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA. Recipharm Laboratories aspires to be the first-choice strategic partner for inhaled drug development companies worldwide. We are seeking an IT intern on a part time basis for our growing team. This onsite internship will be paid at an hourly rate of $18-22 per hour with the potential to become a full-time role in the future. This opportunity would be ideal for a Senior in college or a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on IT experience while actively contributing to daily operations. In this position, your key responsibilities will be as follows: • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners • Setting up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices • Assist with maintaining local networks in ways that optimize performance • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone) • Setting up accounts for new users • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment • Assist with security and privacy of networks and computer systems • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule • Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders • Testing new technology • Other duties as assigned by IT Manager
Required Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: • Major in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant coursework at an Associate’s degree level or above. • Minimum GPA of 3.0. • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and presentation skills. • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills • Familiarity of diverse computer systems and networks • Familiarity of internet security and data privacy principles Additional preferred Qualifications: • Achieved Senior Status or recent graduate at collegiate level. • 1+ years of relevant experience • Interest in the pharmaceutical CMO/CDMO field. **Relocation assistance is not provided for this position.
