We are looking for a dynamic AI ML Systems Analyst to join our team! We seek an experienced solutions developer to join our team to build leading-edge AI/ML solutions. This position reports directly to the organization's CTO for guidance and is responsible for building AI/ML solutions that differentiate our solutions in the competitive government contracting marketplace. The ideal person is comfortable leveraging cloud SaaS solutions like Azure Synapse for ML and AWS SageMaker for training custom AI models. Success is measured by delivering functional and usable solutions to solving real business problems. Ideally, the development process will include an agile methodology to deliver value iteratively rather than at the end, as in most waterfall models. Responsibilities Work with stakeholders to gather solution requirements and capture a definition of what a successful solution looks like Build and code solutions to meet the stakeholder requirements Design the user interfaces for the AI solutions to pass prompt values to the trained model Train small language models using CATHEXIS-owned data. Iterate model training to increase solution accuracy Publish user-facing web interfaces to the IaaS to facilitate interaction with the trained models Communicate all issues and concerns that arise during course delivery to the CATHEXIS CTO Other duties as required to ensure successful build and deployment of the target models Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field Five years of experience in software development, building solutions on SaaS platforms AWS/Azure platform expertise Agile software development Software Security Skills: One or more years of experience in applying AI to practical and comprehensive technology solutions A solid understanding of the principles and concepts of AI/ML, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, etc. Experience with ML, deep learning, TensorFlow, Python, NLP or other related tools Knowledge of basic algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and best-practice patterns Experience in REST API development, NoSQL database design, and RDBMS design and optimizations A strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Experience building AI solutions involving images Experience building ML models using sentiment analysis using tools like Azure Synapse, SnowFlake, or DataBricks Experience training Small Language Models (SLMs)
