ITCON Services is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and dynamic professional as an HR Generalist. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week on-site at ITCON Services headquarters in Tysons Corner, Vienna, Virginia. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for the day to day administration of various aspects of the human resource function which include but are not limited to developing policy and procedures as well as coordinating HR activities such as employment, compensation, benefits, training, payroll, 401K plan, facilitating the annual ERISA Audit, and employee services. Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree, ideally in human resources or related field. PHR or SPHR desired. 4+ years progressively more responsible human resources experience. Previous experience supporting government IT contracting organizations is a plus. Skills Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including EEO, FMLA, and FLSA Experience with HRIS and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with tact and professionalism. Experience with creating a culture of engagement, collaboration and teamwork. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or PHR is desired however not required if knowledge has been acquired through experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Essential Functions Ensure compliance with company policies, government regulations, and affirmative action requirements in all HR-related matters. Conduct employee orientation, I-9 verification/E-Verify, and provide support to managers and employees on HR-related topics. Develops and maintains affirmative action program AAP reports and ensure company is compliant; files EEO-1, and VETS 4212 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to all government regulations; and files certified payroll each pay period. Manage the performance appraisal process and provide guidance to managers on performance management best practices. Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans. Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs including but not limited to compensation, leave, exit interviews, training, and development etc. Resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner. Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with federal, state, and local laws. Participate in HR-related audits and maintain accurate employee records. Provide support to other HR functions as needed.
