Do you feel motivated to teach kids about the world around them? The Roanoke Valley SPCA is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as the Lead Summer Camp Counselor for the 2024 season. The Lead Summer Camp Counselor furthers the mission of the Roanoke Valley SPCA by leading our humane education summer camps for children in the 4th through 10th grades. They are responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities, coordinating with campers’ parents as needed, and leading lessons and field trips for campers. They are responsible for the general safety and development, growth, and skill achievement of the participants.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma, Valid Driver's License , Successful completion of background check
Preferred Qualifications:
Child/Adult CPR and First Aid Certifications
