AECOM Tishman is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Assistant Project Manager to support our exciting construction project for our technology client. Job Description: Provides overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies. Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project. Required Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements: BA/BS Mechanical, Electrical engineering or similar curriculum plus 6 years of relevant experience in Mechanical/Electrical interiors commercial construction or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications : 6 years of experience in the construction industry. Desire to work in an MEP environment (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing). Experience working in an MEP environment. Experience in construction in electrical, mechanical, telecom, technology or mission critical environments. Experience running larger scale projects. Fluency in construction paperwork including scope writing, purchasing, scheduling, planning, invoicing. Experience in ground-up construction. Ability to guide/train and mentor junior staff members. Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook). Qualified candidates will be highly organized, professional and have excellent communication skills. Additional Information This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. This position is not hybrid nor remote. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $95,656.00 - $176,964.00.
