Literacy NRV - Virginia (New River Valley (Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Pulaski, Radford))
The Executive Director (ED) will oversee the operational, financial, and programmatic success of Literacy NRV, working closely with the Board of Directors to advance our mission, strengthen community partnerships, and inspire staff and volunteers. This position offers flexibility, creativity, and meaningful leadership in a small but powerful nonprofit. As Executive Director, you will: Lead and support a passionate team of staff and volunteers delivering adult literacy, ESL, and workforce readiness programs. Develop and implement strategic goals in partnership with the Board of Directors. Manage budgets, fundraising initiatives, and grants to sustain and grow programs. Build strong community partnerships with local governments, funders, and agencies. Champion Literacy NRV as its public ambassador, advancing our mission through storytelling, outreach, and advocacy.
