The function of the Estimator is to be responsible for analyzing and reporting on how much a project will cost. They are responsible for identifying all cost that goes into a project. A few of the main duties of an estimator are helping the Pre-Construction Manager(s) in creating a proposal, tracking the costs of a project, understanding contract documents and specifications, and proposing a final budget for a project. They also may present their analysis to upper management.

Required Qualifications:

• Required: 3 years’ experience in construction management or estimating, preferably in masonry construction projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred: 5 years estimating experience in construction/commercial environment and with masonry construction projects. • Preferred: Certified Professional Estimator (CPE)
