Stefanini is looking for a Senior Design Release Engineer in Hagerstown, MD For quick apply, please reach out to Allan Angeles Call: 248 936 0633 / Email: Allan.Angeles@stefanini.com Work Location: 13302 Pennsylvania Ave. Hagerstown, MD 21742 Responsibilities: • Design technical solutions according to given prerequisites (e.g., function, style, volume, geometry, costs, quality target and regulations) in mechanical areas. • Support and lead mechanical design engineering activities in a particular area. • Play an active role in the delivery. • Integrate deliveries from others and secure quality and readiness before release. • Ensure the design fulfills the business targets/ requirements. • Provide input in product and system roadmaps. • Network and build relationship with universities and external institutes for own technical area. • Participate in the business development and innovation. • Develop and Manage networking across the organization and provide inputs to the project pre-requisites based on the component history
Required Qualifications:
Qualifications: • Experience in design release and engine combustion, air and/or gas. • Strong RCA (Root Cause Analysis) skills, particularly in maintenance. • Experience with Creo, Catia, Solidworks, KOLA, PIL, Protus, and/or JIRA • Experience working with customers through a customer portal. • Primary focus on air and gas (engine systems). • Preferred additional experience in bent tubing, mechatronics, and casting (aluminum and iron). • Experience with supporting junior team members and peers. • Must be a role model of lifelong learning, sharing knowledge and developing others as a trainer and/or coach. • Must be able to develop influence and work confidently within the wider company network.
