This is a full-time, on-site role for an Architectural Designer based in Washington, DC. The Architectural Designer will be responsible for creating detailed architectural designs, preparing construction drawings, and contributing to the development of urban planning initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with design teams, producing technical documentation, and ensuring projects align with client requirements. The role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative and functional design solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient in Architecture and Architectural Design to conceptualize and develop design concepts. - Skilled in Construction Drawings and technical documentation to translate designs into detailed project plans. - Competence in Drawing and visual representation for presenting ideas and designs effectively. - Knowledge of Urban Planning principles to support large-scale project development. - Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with teams and clients seamlessly. - Familiarity with sustainable design practices and evidence-based design is a plus. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field, and proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
