Transaction Execution & Process Management Support execution of multiple concurrent sell-side M&A engagements across privately-held businesses Associates are expected to become highly integrated into the live execution process, gaining meaningful exposure to how transactions are managed, negotiated, and executed across all stages of a deal lifecycle Own key execution workstreams and serve as a core execution partner in managing overall transaction progression Actively manage transaction timelines, task lists, diligence coordination, and process workflows to help ensure disciplined execution and deal momentum Coordinate internally with senior team members and externally with clients and advisors to keep processes moving efficiently Support management of diligence processes, buyer communications, and information flow throughout the transaction lifecycle Take increasing ownership over buyer interactions, diligence coordination, client communication, and transaction management responsibilities based on development, readiness, and execution performance 2. Financial Analysis & Marketing Materials Develop and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials Prepare teasers, Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), management presentation materials, and buyer analyses Conduct industry, market, competitive, and buyer research to support transaction positioning Analyze transaction structures, valuation scenarios, and working capital considerations Partner with transaction accounting firms and support Quality of Earnings processes Ensure all analytical work product and client materials meet firm standards for quality, accuracy, and professionalism 3. Buyer & Due Diligence Coordination Support buyer outreach tracking, NDA coordination, and buyer pipeline management Draft and coordinate buyer communications, diligence requests, and Q&A responses Help manage data room organization, document flow, and diligence tracking Support IOI and LOI evaluation by analyzing and summarizing transaction terms and buyer feedback Coordinate logistics and preparation for management presentations, buyer meetings, and diligence sessions 4. Client Exposure & Advisory Development Participate directly in client calls, meetings, and transaction discussions alongside senior deal team members Support preparation of client recommendations and strategic analyses Help communicate market feedback, buyer perspectives, and process developments to clients Develop the communication, judgment, and advisory skillset necessary to become a trusted client-facing transaction professional Build confidence and experience interacting with founders, executives, buyers, accountants, and attorneys throughout live deal processes 5. Team Collaboration & Firm Development Collaborate across all levels of the firm in a team-oriented execution environment that emphasizes communication, accountability, and shared transaction success Contribute to internal process improvements, templates, and best practices Support pitch materials, prospective client evaluations, and business development initiatives as needed
Required Qualifications:
Qualifications & Experience 3 to 5+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, FP&A, transaction services, consulting, or other strategic finance environments Prior experience supporting M&A transactions, financial analysis, or serving in an advisory capacity to leadership teams preferred Strong financial modeling, analytical, and PowerPoint presentation skills Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders High attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, accurate work product Series 79 and 63 license preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, financial modeling, DealCloud, Salesforce or equivalent CRM systems, PitchBook, and automation tools Bachelor’s degree required; finance, accounting, economics, or related fields preferred Role Structure This role is based in the Huntington area of Long Island, NY. This position is designed to be primarily in-person, reflecting the hands-on, collaborative, and apprenticeship-oriented nature of transaction execution and development at Bundy Group
