The Opportunity We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, and task-focused Deal Operations Analyst to support our deal teams across M&A transactions, investment banking processes, and deal execution workflows. This role is well-suited for individuals with experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction services, business operations, or project management environments who are interested in a process-oriented execution role. This position is centered on process-driven execution and live engagement support. You will play a key role in moving transactions forward by managing buyer outreach, maintaining CRM accuracy, distributing materials, and coordinating workflows across multiple concurrent deals. In parallel, you will partner with senior leadership to evaluate existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, explore automation tools, and help document scalable best practices as the firm continues to grow. You will work closely with senior deal team members and gain direct exposure to the execution of live M&A transactions. Your work will have a direct impact on the speed, organization, and overall quality of deal processes, making you an integral part of the execution team. What You'll Do Deal Execution Support Distribute transaction materials to buyers and coordinate follow-on communications Track buyer activity and process progression across deal stages Maintain accurate CRM records (DealCloud) reflecting real-time deal status Manage data room access, organization and documentation uploads Support deal teams by executing outreach, tracking, and coordination tasks Process & Coordination Coordinate delivery of materials across each stage of the deal process Track buyer engagement and ensure process consistency Schedule management presentations, buyer meetings, and diligence sessions Manage scheduling logistics and meeting coordination Process Improvement & Deal Operations Support Identify opportunities to improve deal execution workflows and internal processes Help build and document repeatable processes, checklists, and best practices across deal teams Leverage automation tools (e.g., Excel, CRM workflows, AI tools) to improve efficiency of task-based work and establish new best practices for the firm Support ongoing CRM optimization, data integrity, and reporting improvements Contribute to business operations and deal operations initiatives across the firm Data & Administrative Support Convert PDF financials into Excel format Organize and clean data for use by deal teams Support ad-hoc, time-sensitive requests across active transactions as well as with situational coverage and operations-related assignments Note: This description reflects the core responsibilities of the role but is not all-inclusive. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree required 3+ years of experience in a high-volume execution, operations, or coordination role Experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction services, corporate finance, legal coordination, or consulting PMO preferred Experience working in deadline-driven, multi-workstream environments Familiarity with DealCloud, Salesforce, or similar CRM systems Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) Proficiency and interest in leveraging automation tools to improve processes and efficiency Comfort handling confidential information with professionalism Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
