Position Summary: MELD Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and organized Inside Sales Representative to support both existing customers and new business development efforts. This role serves as a critical link between customers, sales, and business development teams by driving customer engagement, qualifying leads, and ensuring seamless sales operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a technical, manufacturing-focused environment. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Customer Support (Existing Customer Sales) Serve as the primary inside sales contact for current MELD machine customers Identify and pursue opportunities for additional sales (e.g., parts, upgrades, services) Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and coordinate with internal teams to fulfill orders Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business Track and manage customer activity within CRM systems Inside Sales and Lead Management Manage inbound and outbound leads from marketing campaigns, website inquiries, and third-party sources Qualify leads based on defined criteria and assess potential fit for MELD solutions Schedule and coordinate introductory calls or meetings for Business Development staff Maintain accurate records of lead status, communications, and pipeline activity Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing teams to refine lead qualification processes Sales Operations and Coordination Coordinate and manage Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with prospective customers Support preparation of sales materials, proposals, and customer documentation Travel and participate in trade shows and industry events Utilize third-party tools and platforms for lead generation and prospect identification Maintain organized documentation and ensure compliance with internal processes
Required Qualifications:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in inside sales Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized with excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
Preffered Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or technical sales Familiarity with lead generation tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.) Basic understanding of engineering or advanced manufacturing technologies Key Competencies Customer-focused mindset Strong problem-solving skills Proactive and self-driven Collaborative team player Ability to learn technical products and communicate their value effectively
