Position Summary: MELD Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Technical Writer to develop, maintain, and improve customer-facing documentation and training materials. This role is critical in ensuring that complex technical information is clearly communicated to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. The Technical Writer will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to produce high-quality manuals, specifications, user guides, and training resources that support MELD’s advanced manufacturing technologies. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Technical Documentation Create, edit, and maintain comprehensive customer-facing documentation, including: Product manuals Technical specifications User guides Installation and operating instructions Translate complex engineering and technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content Ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with MELD branding and standards Manage document revisions and version control Training Materials Development Develop training materials to support customers and internal teams, including: Written instructional guides Standard operating procedures (SOPs) PowerPoint presentations Video scripts and visual training content Collaborate with subject matter experts to design effective training programs Support creation of multimedia content, including instructional videos and tutorial Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with engineering, R&D, production, and customer support teams to gather information Participate in product development reviews to stay informed on changes and updates Ensure documentation supports product lifecycle and customer needs Continuous Improvement Evaluate and improve existing documentation for clarity, usability, and completeness Implement best practices in technical communication and documentation tools Establish and maintain documentation standards, templates, and style guides

Required Qualifications:

Qualifications: Required Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, Communications, or related field 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in manufacturing or engineering environments Strong ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Excellent written, editing, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Experience with CAD drawings, engineering documentation, or advanced manufacturing processes Familiarity with content management systems and documentation tools Experience creating or supporting video-based training content Knowledge of additive manufacturing or solid-state manufacturing technologies
