JZ Structural Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Structural Project Engineer with approximately 3–5 years of structural engineering experience to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia. The engineer will assist with structural analysis and design, preparation of construction documents and engineering reports, site visits and field investigations, and coordination with clients, architects, contractors, and other project team members. JZ Structural Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Structural Project Engineer with approximately 3–5 years of structural engineering experience to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia. The engineer will assist with structural analysis and design, preparation of construction documents and engineering reports, site visits and field investigations, and coordination with clients, architects, contractors, and other project team members. This position offers broad hands-on project experience in a growing small structural engineering firm and an opportunity to develop toward greater project responsibility.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Approximately 3–5 years of structural engineering experience. Working knowledge of common structural materials and applicable building codes. Familiarity with AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus. Ability to communicate and coordinate with clients and project teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
EIT certification or progress toward PE licensure is preferred but not required Revit Experience Interest in growing toward project management responsivities
