We are seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a background in building construction, rural infrastructure, and structural engineering. In this role, you will lead the design, permitting, and management of agricultural and commercial projects throughout the Shenandoah Valley. The ideal candidate blends rigorous engineering standards with practical, hands-on knowledge of farming practices and livestock operations.
Required Qualifications:
• Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia (or ability to obtain via reciprocity immediately). Valid driver's license. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering. • Experience: 5+ years of engineering experience, with a proven track record working directly on agricultural and/or commercial projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Shenandoah Valley agricultural practices, soil types, and regional environmental regulations.
