Skeo Solutions is seeking a motivated, energetic and earnest associate with an undergraduate degree to join our team on a full-time basis. Candidates should demonstrate they are detail-oriented, highly responsive and capable of supporting several projects at one time. Ideal candidates for this entry-level position will have strong GIS skills and a background in environmental sciences, natural sciences, geography, or other relevant fields. In addition to GIS-based work, this position will include research, writing and data management tasks related to environmental science and policy. Applicants should be proficient with Microsoft Office programs. Experience with graphic design, and Adobe Creative Suite software are a plus. All staff are expected to reflect Skeo’s operating principles: dignity, respect, compassion, integrity, and accountability. Applicants should be able to multi-task, work effectively on a team, maintain a positive attitude and have excellent communication skills. While the position is expected to require 40 hours a week, there are times where it may be necessary to work more than 40 hours per week under tight deadlines. Required Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, natural sciences, geography, landscape architecture or related field. • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs. • Proficient with Esri ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
Preferred Qualifications:
Advantageous Qualifications: • Demonstrated ability to multitask, handing multiple projects/deadlines at once. • Ability to start within two weeks after hiring. • Willingness to travel throughout the United States. • Experience with graphic design and Adobe Creative Suite. • Experience with Access, Python or Power Apps. • Fluency speaking and writing in a second language beyond English, especially Spanish.
