To sustain a dynamic and innovative organization that is responsive to the varied needs of children, families, and the community, we need experienced clinicians who are passionate about their work, seek innovation and best practices, with the ability and desire to supervise others. To this end, Family Compass has created a new role, the Clinical Innovation Lead, with the added responsibility and rewards associated with developing a clinical service that they are passionate about. Specifically, the Clinical Innovation Leads develop a program to address a specific need (such as Anorexia, OCD, tween, or teen girls, etc.) or specialized service delivery (groups for parents, home visits, online seminars, etc.). Then with the active support of the practice and its solid referral sources, the Lead engages in outreach to educate the community about their program. They also select other professionals to provide the service under their supervision and guidance. In addition to their regular salary for their direct work with families, Clinical Innovation Leads receive additional monthly compensation equivalent to 50% of the net income of the service area they lead. Currently, we have three clinicians who are also Clinical Innovation Leads, focused on the following specialty areas: Early Autism Intervention—Floor Time; ABA; and social skills groups.
Required Qualifications:
Experience needed as either a Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with children or adolescents with developmental differences such as autism or special needs
