As a Science and Engineering Strategist, you will provide on-site support in research and development, test and evaluation, prototyping, modeling and simulation, and hardware/software design for Department of Defense (DoD) customers. Candidates in their given field will work intimately with teams supporting research and analysis in microelectronics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, autonomy, energy and power, software engineering, systems engineering, networking, communication, cyber, electronic warfare, aerial/ground/naval platforms, biotechnology, and space systems. Studies will include analysis in microelectronics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, autonomy, energy and power, software engineering, networking, communication, cyber, electronic warfare, aerial/ground/naval platforms, biotechnology, and space systems. Position will provide subject matter expertise to customers in technology development, sensor-specific subsystem development, and new concept development. Responsibilities include: 1) Provide decision support via the application of scientific and engineering research techniques across diverse defense capabilities, programs and problems; 2) Demonstrate effective leadership of complex, multi-disciplinary analytic projects providing insights and recommendations for DoD advanced capability investment areas (e.g., space, hypersonics, autonomy, missile defense); 3) Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments, and contributes to the advancement of clients' knowledge in the area of expertise.
Required Qualifications:
1) Bachelor's degree in a physical science or engineering-related discipline (chemical, civil, mechanical, electrical) and 7-15 years of experience, or Master's degree and 5+ years of experience; 2) Experience conducting technical reviews and assessments on DoD programs; 3) Experience developing (and coordinating) comprehensive scientific and engineering plans for approval; 4) US citizen with a minimum DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain TS/SCI access
