Product Development Manager
International Paper - Indiana (Indianapolis)
his position will be responsible for the development of new SpaceKraft liquid bulk packaging solutions to support the continued growth of the business. This will involve many facets of packaging development to include structural design of corrugated packaging, flexible packaging design with mono and coex layer films and injection molding. In addition, this role will lead the future development of ancillary filling, dispensing, mixing and heating systems to support the use of SpaceKraft at customers and end users in the market. This will require working closely with SpaceKraft’s GM, Sales Manager, Business Development Managers, as well as SpaceKraft’s Site Managers and Quality Managers to ensure that New Products are feasible and cost effective to meet the needs of the business.
Required Qualifications:
• BS in Engineering, or Related Field • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a product development, project management environment or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in packaging, or related, working with liquid bulk packaging or corrugated packaging is preferred • Project management experience • Strong mechanical and electrical skills • Good communication skills with ability to work “up” and “down” within an organization
