RS&H is seeking enthusiastic detail oriented Civil Engineering graduates with 0 to 3 years of experience for full time employment in Virginia in either Richmond Region, Roanoke Valley Region, New River Valley Region, or Abingdon. Successful candidates will assist with various design related assignments, varied analysis, and varied field duties on transportation projects primarily for state and local governments in Virginia and the southeast. Potential candidates include recent graduates and up to two years of experience with broad civil engineering coursework and working experiences
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution 0 to 2 years of civil engineering experience Coursework/experience in transportation, geometric design of highways, traffic engineering, construction cost estimating, land development, construction management, hydraulics, hydrology, stormwater management, geotechnical and civil engineering materials Experience using Microsoft Office software
Preferred Qualifications:
AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, Geopak, ArcGIS, HCS, SYNCHRO, Primavera P6 software Certification as an Engineer-in-Training by successful completion of fundamentals of engineering exam Recent graduates with internships, co-op, or previous employment experience related to the heavy/highway industry or engineering industry
