Torc Robotics - Virginia (Blacksburg)
Assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the People Operations office and is responsible for performing a variety of human resources related duties including new hire pre-boarding, onboarding/orientation, confidential personnel documents maintenance, and program/project assistance. Provides support to the HR Business Partners including policy development and documentation, performance management, employee relations, and compliance and reporting.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Business Management, Human Resources, or related field. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred. 6+ years of experience in human resources office serving as generalist to employees to answer questions and respond on behalf of the company, and utilizing a HRIS system for job history, employee data, performance management, and timekeeping management. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to build trust and strong working relationships, effectively create and proofread documents and reports, and communicate to a diverse workforce. Strong business insight and judgment, team orientation and collaborative style. Strong time management and organizational skills to plan, develop, coordinate resources, prioritize effectively, and maintain competing demands simultaneously with frequent interruptions and in a fast-paced environment. Ability to ethically handle sensitive and confidential information with impartiality and professionalism.
