Marketing Assistant Summit Design and Engineering Services is seeking a Graphic Designer/Marketing Assistant to work in our Hillsborough/Raleigh office. The Graphic Designer/ Marketing Assistant position is a fast-paced and exciting position which will work closely with the Graphic Designer, Lead Proposal Writer and Marketing Manager. The Graphic Designer/Marketing Assistant will be part of the Marketing team and report directly to the Creative Manager. This role will go beyond just doing graphic design and will also help with other marketing needs on an as needed basis. Responsibilities: Creating and preparing final artwork for social media graphics Layout design and graphics for presentations and marketing collateral Working with marketing team and creative manager to develop new artwork for various projects according to brand guidelines Editing images in Photoshop Creating, editing, and updating, marketing and sales collateral Building creative assets that appropriately reflect the Summit brand Design digital assets for social media and web. Assist with web development on WordPress platform. Organizing and archiving images and assets Proofreading for accuracy Video editing for internal communication Assisting with the organization and ordering of materials for conferences and events Supporting proposal team in creation of graphics for proposals Organizing and managing internal photo requests and photography Assist with internal newsletter Skills and Qualifications: 1 to 2 years of internship/ work experience Intermediate knowledge in Adobe CC, especially in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop Ability to manage images and data entry Attention to detail is a must Photo retouching/editing skills Video editing a plus Motion graphics designer a plus Must have time management skills, fast-pace environment, and juggle many projects at once.
