Titan America has an excellent internship opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer graduate at the Roanoke Cement plant in Roanoke, Virginia. Responsibilities include: Maintain a safe working environment at all times. Monitor methods and equipment with a view on improving performance and efficiency. Assist in developing and implementing departmental plans. Assist in identifying courses of action to improve safety, reliability, operational efficiencies, control production costs and protect the environment. Assist with reporting, planning, and audits. Clearly articulate ideas or issues to management. Qualifications: Must be a Safety conscious. Must have good leadership and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree with GPA of 2.7 or higher. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and MS Project. Must have basic project management skills. Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures.
