The primary responsibilities of the Recruitment Manager/HR Specialist include recruiting qualified applicants who will provide home care to the agency’s clients. Typically, the Recruitment Manager/HR Specialist has direct responsibility for identifying, screening, and hiring quality employees. To include the employee onboarding process, from initial interviews, screening, background checks, initial and ongoing training. Additionally, maintaining updated and accurate Employee files to include hard copy and electronic within the payroll system, homecare client and caregiver management system. Continued daily management of caregivers as needed to be compliant with federal, state and local laws.

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have experience or education in a human resource management or administrative role in the recruiting and hiring process.

Preferred Qualifications:

A college degree or certificate in human resource management or talent acquisition is preferred but not required.

Specific Position Requirements- Responsible for day-to-day management of the home personal care organization in absence of Administrator, including but not limited to: 1. Employing qualified personnel and ensuring adequate staff orientation, training, education and evaluation 2. Maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations and implementing corrective action in response to reports of organization committees and regulatory agencies 3. Understanding and utilizing staffing and scheduling software 4. Enter new employees into systems (ClearCare, Payroll) 5. Have internet access from home to access ABC network 6. Maintain good working relationships with caregivers, scheduling team and management. 7. Focus on retention of qualified caregivers General Position Requirements – 1. Familiar and comfortable working on computers 2. Excellent phone skills 3. Ability to coordinate and organize multiple tasks 4. Detailed and task oriented 5. Excellent written/grammatical skills 6. Effective oral and written communication skills 7. Self-starter, driven for success 8. Works well with others and is a team player 9. Coordinate and maintain all employee files electronic and hard copy 10. Ability to work autonomously 11. Open to learning laws, regulations, and compliance requirements critical to the position. General Accountabilities – 1. Accountable for meeting current company standards as defined by the company handbook 2. Accountable for demonstrating current knowledge of company policies and procedures 3. Accountable for maintaining good communication and interpersonal relations with employees, partners, management and clients 4. Accountable for maintaining a good record of attendance and punctuality 5. Accountable for following company safety policies 6. Supports the company’s mission, vision, values and goals 7. Accountable for understanding state & federal employment laws and regulations as related to homecare. Measures for Success - 1. Creativity in where, when, who to recruit. Must be able to establish a plan and execute 2. Consistency in recruiting activities weekly, monthly, quarterly 3. Tracking candidates through entire hiring process 4. Scheduling a set number of ads, phone screens, interviews weekly 5. Conducting weekly on-boarding sessions 6. Hiring a minimum number of qualified candidates per month 7. Finding ways to increase efficiency in the hiring and management by utilizing electronic systems provided 8. Ability for agency to steadily grow number of clients served
