We are seeking an aspiring Certified Financial Planner to join our team at our offices in Harrisonburg, VA. The ideal candidate will have both relevant experience as well as a baseline level of financial planning acumen in order to support our financial planning, investment research and client service activities. The desired outcome is to develop a new hire into a Financial Advisor, working with both individuals and families as we collectively help them to fulfill their financial and estate goals. We are a Registered Investment Advisor, operating in the capacity of fiduciary for our clients. While our business is scaled, we are still growing and have long-term ambitions to maintain both comprehensive servicing levels and continuity for our clients and their families. Our clients benefit from a team-based approach, in which we offer our competencies and advice on a collective basis to provide a maximum level of service. As such, our working culture is highly collaborative and requires our employees to be team players.

Required Qualifications:

--Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in finance or accounting --CFP or CFP candidate preferred --Strong organizational and time management skills --0-5+ years of experience in client service in the financial services industry. Preferably with an independent registered advisory firm --Technology proficient, with experience using Microsoft Office Suite and openness to engage with various financial planning software tools --Flexible team player who is adaptable to change and open to new ideas. Ability to manage multiple tasks --A genuine interest in serving and caring for clients --Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
